College Recruiting
Click title to read.
If your youngster
is lucky enough to attract interest from college sports recruiters,
you've probably heard or read plenty of horror stories from parents
who've gone through the recruiting process. Most of those stories center on
alleged embellishments and unfulfilled promises. Take them
with a grain of salt. In my experience (during my son's junior and
senior years of high school football), college recruiters are the
most scrupulous people this side of the Amish. Sure, it's a
competitive business and there are a few slimeballs out there.
But with a little knowledge and common sense, along with realistic
expectations, you and your child will be able to enjoy the
experience and maybe even come away with an offer you can't refuse.
Here's a 4-part series that I hope will help you.
